Scan to upload photos, no app needed.
Attendee photos land in one album instead of Slack threads, group chats, and shared drives.
No app install and no company login, so employees, clients, and guests all upload from their own phones.
You can remove any photo the moment you see it, and lock the album view-only when the event ends.
Celebration and Signature take videos and run a live TV slideshow with the QR code on screen.
One-time price per album with renewable storage, so there is no monthly subscription to cancel after one event.

How it works

STEP 01

Create the album

Add the event name, the date, and a cover. Paid plans include a custom link such as wed.photo/summit-2026 that fits on a slide or a badge.

STEP 02

Place the QR code

Put the same code on registration signage, badge inserts, table cards, and stage slides. Print the short link under every code for phones that won't focus.

STEP 03

Attendees scan and upload

They scan with the phone camera and upload photos in the browser. Celebration and Signature also take videos. Nobody installs an app or creates an account.

STEP 04

Remove, lock, download

Remove anything you don't want shown. Lock the album view-only when uploads should stop. Download the full-resolution ZIP for marketing and HR.

Where to put the QR code at company events

Put the code where people already stop and have a free hand: registration, tables, badges, and slides. One sign by the entrance gets walked past.

  • Conferences: the registration desk, a badge or lanyard insert, session-room slides, expo booths, and the closing slide.
  • Company and holiday parties: table cards, the bar, the photo booth, the awards slide, and the TV slideshow.
  • Team offsites and retreats: the welcome packet, activity stations, dinner tables, and the group photo.
  • Product launches: the entrance screen, the press kit, and the stage screens between speakers.
  • Everywhere: print the short album link under the code, so anyone whose camera won't scan can type it.

Is the album private enough for a company event?

Albums are unlisted and kept out of search engines, so only people with the link or QR code can see them. They are not password protected. Anyone who has the link can view and upload, including someone a colleague forwards it to. There is no upload-only mode, so guests who can upload can also see the album.

  • Share the link and QR code only with invitees, through the invite email, the intranet, or signs at the venue. Don't post it publicly for an internal or client event.
  • Remove any photo or video at any time, and it disappears for viewers right away.
  • Lock the album view-only after the event so no new uploads come in.
  • Approving uploads before they appear is coming soon. It is not available yet.
  • Removing a photo does not recall copies someone already saved to their phone.

What the privacy policy covers

For legal or HR teams reviewing the tool, wed.photo's privacy policy describes how attendee data is handled.

  • Location (GPS) data and device identifiers are removed from stored photos. Videos are stored as uploaded and may keep their metadata.
  • wed.photo does not sell personal information and does not use event photos to train AI models or for advertising.
  • Card payments are handled by Stripe. wed.photo never sees or stores full card numbers.
  • People can ask to access, correct, export, or delete their personal information through the contact page.
  • A guest who wants their photos removed can ask the album host or contact wed.photo directly.

Conferences, holiday parties, and offsites

The QR flow is the same at every event. What changes is where the code goes and what you ask people to share.

  • Conferences and summits: collect keynotes, booth shots, and networking photos for sponsor reports and next year's promo. Celebration includes 6 sub-albums if you want to split by day or track.
  • Company holiday parties: one gallery replaces scattered team chats. Run TV mode during dinner or awards so the code stays on screen all night.
  • Team offsites: capture activities and dinners without setting up shared folders and permissions for every attendee.
  • Client-facing or public events: until upload approval is available, assign one person to check the album during the day and remove anything off-brand.

How wed.photo compares with Drive folders and monthly tools

Shared drive folders work for teams that already use the same accounts, but outside guests and clients usually get stuck at a sign-in screen. Many event photo apps charge monthly or expire after a short event window. wed.photo is a one-time payment per album, with storage you can renew.

  • No guest accounts: the QR code opens straight into the upload page.
  • One-time pricing: Keepsake $39 for 6 months, Celebration $68 for 12 months, Signature $99 for 24 months.
  • Full-resolution originals, downloaded as one ZIP, instead of compressed copies from a chat app.
  • A free trial for your first 50 photos, so you can test the flow before the event.
FAQ

How do we collect photos at a corporate event with a QR code?

Create a wed.photo album, download its QR code, and place it at registration, on badges, on tables, and on slides. Attendees scan with their phone camera and upload in the browser. After the event, download everything as a full-resolution ZIP.

Do attendees need an app or a work account?

No. The QR code opens the album in Safari or Chrome. Nobody installs an app, creates an account, or needs IT to set anything up.

Can we password protect the album for an internal event?

No. Albums are unlisted and kept out of search engines, but they are not password protected. Anyone with the link can view and upload. For sensitive events, share the code only with invitees, remove unwanted photos, and lock the album view-only when the event ends.

Can we approve photos before they appear?

Not yet. Upload approval is coming soon. Today you can remove any photo or video at any time, and it disappears for viewers right away.

Can marketing or HR download everything after the event?

Yes. Paid plans include a full-resolution ZIP of the whole album. Download it before the storage window ends, or renew storage to keep the album online longer.

Can attendees upload videos and can we show a live photo wall?

Yes, on Celebration ($68) and Signature ($99). Both take video uploads and include TV slideshow mode. The free trial and Keepsake are photos only.

What does it cost?

The free trial covers 50 photos for 7 days. Paid plans are one-time: Keepsake $39 with 6 months of storage, Celebration $68 with 12 months, and Signature $99 with 24 months. Storage is renewable, and there is no per-attendee fee.
