Getting started

wed.photo turns one QR code into a shared album every guest can add to. Here's how to set yours up and get the first photos flowing.

How do I create a wedding album?

Sign up for a free trial, give your album a name (usually the couple's names and date), and you'll get a private album link and a QR code instantly.

Your free trial includes 50 photos and 7 days of storage with no card required, so you can test the full guest flow before the wedding.

How do guests add their photos?

Guests scan your QR code with their phone camera — no app to download and no account to create. The camera opens your upload page right in the browser.

They tap to pick photos and videos from their camera roll, and the files upload straight to your album. It works on every modern iPhone and Android phone.

Where do I get the QR code and table cards?

Every album has a QR code in your dashboard's QR & link tab — pick a style and download it as a PNG or SVG. For the cards themselves, browse our free Canva QR card templates, open one in Canva, and swap in your names, date, and QR code.

Print it on table cards, add it to your invitations, or display it on a sign at the venue.

When should I set up my album?

Set it up a week or two before the wedding so you have time to print QR cards and test the upload flow yourself.

Your storage window starts when you choose a paid plan, so you don't need to rush — create early, upgrade when you're ready.
